Tim was fastest finisher in the Cycling Plus 'team' and has his picture in the latest edition of the magazine (in the Tour supplement).
Mourenx - Pau 176 km
7885 would-be tour heroes started the annual 'Etape du Tour bike race over the 176km that would form stage 16 of this years Tour de France. Climbing over 4 cols including the 'hors categorie' Col d'Aubisque.
After building up training miles from the start of the year, Tim completed the course in 6 hours 14 minutes, coming 271st out of the 7200+ finishers.
One week later, the professionals rode the same course and the winner, Oscar Pereiro, took only 4 hours 38 minutes, truly humbling!
