Angus John Proctor was born on Friday 10th Feb 2006 at 09:28 after nearly 14 hours of labour. He weighed 4.1kg (9lb 1oz)! Clare did a fantastic job with the expert help of the midwives at Halifax hospital. Clare and Angus came home on Monday 13th Feb and since then our world has been turned upside down! Angus is now 1 month old, has gained a pund in weight already and has started to settle into a bit of a routine (we think) although he still takes great delight in surprising us as he learns more about the world - something that's set to continue for the next 20-30 years we imagine!
Cilla & Derek (proud Grandparents) came to stay with us for a week whilst Tim went back to work in between two weeks of paternity leave, this last week has been the first that Clare has been alone with Angus all day and Tim has worked a 'normal' week. We're both shattered, but the week held some 'firsts' such as Clare feeding Angus in public for the first time whilst enjoying lunch with some friends in town.
