Angus is now 6 months old and has just started enjoying the delights of 'real' food. Like both his parents he seems keen to have a go at anything in the food department and gets quite excited at every mealtime.
Whilst not yet sleeping through the night, with the introduction of solid food things are definitely improving. At least mummy and daddy are starting to feel a little more human in the mornings!
Angus is a very 'talkative' baby, with a wide repertoire of squeals, and 'blah blah blah' type noises as well as being an expert raspberry blower! He's able to roll over onto his front but doesn't seem that bothered about it however he is very keen on interacting with the world. Anything within reach is quickly grasped and shoved into his mouth so we have to vigilant about what he gets hold of - Clare recently rescued a red chilli pepper from his hands!
Angus and Clare have a large circle of friends of similar age (in Angus' case that is!) with regular coffee mornings and trips to the park as well as other baby related activities (Baby Yoga, Baby Massage etc etc) all based in & around Hebden Bridge.
Other recent developments include Angus's first trips in his cycle trailer behind the tandem and a couple of really lovely walks in the back pack. We have also been on our first camping trip down to Somerset with our enormous tent which was great fun (despite being nibbled by midges!).
The last 6 months have really flown by and it is wonderful to see how much Angus has learned about the world in that time. Whilst it's hard work, we continue to be amazed and charmed by our son every day.
There are lots of pictures of Angus in his gallery and more recent pictures of him enjoying things with us on the News pages
