Autumn continued to produce fantastic views over the valley from our house and we enjoyed some wonderful walks in the hills around Hebden Bridge. We also made our first trip back to Northampton since Angus was born, although he had previously met most of our close friends this was a great opportunity to catch up with people who'd not been able to make the trip 'up North'. We had a long lunch with Naomi, Clare's ex-work colleague. Tim made another trip to the US for business, but fortunately the stay was limited to 1 week this time. When Auntie Jenny was staying, we managed to meet up with Tim's sister Sarah and her family at the Rheged centre on the outskirts of Penrith. We had a great time with the children being entertained with plenty to do - Ariel is still insisting upon wearing the aligator fancy dress costume that Sarah made for her to attend a friend's party - it is the only outfit she will happily leave the house in!
